Glan Agua/MEIC Charity Cycle 2017 - Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association

We at Glan Agua/MEIC have organised a charity fundraising cycle which will take a group of approximately 20 employees (so far signed up), friends and family from City West in Dublin to finish in Galway, over 200km in one day!! This cycle will take place on Friday 29th September 2017 and the more we have participating the better so if you would like to participate in the cycle please inform us. If you want to do part of the cycle, the whole cycle or just join in at the end for some fun please let us know.

We would like to invite any and all of our stakeholders, both Glan Agua’s and MEIC’s, to join in our fundraising efforts for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.

This year we have chosen the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) as our nominated Charity. The IMNDA is the only organisation of its kind in Ireland providing care and support to people with Motor Neurone Disease, their families, friends and carers. Their website address is and here you will find lots of information on the great work that they do and the care and support that they provide to people and families affected by this debilitating condition.

As such, this is a very worthy cause and we at Glan Agua/MEIC are striving to raise as much funds through this event as possible.

To donate to this fundraising effort we would be grateful if you could visit the link to the online i-donate page below. There you will be able to make an online payment which goes directly to the charity.

Alternatively, if you wish to donate by means of cash or cheque, we would be extremely grateful if you could contact Noel Gibbons Glan Agua Ltd. Railway House, Station Road, Loughrea, Co. Galway. Alternatively if you wish to present the donation to any our staff they will gladly ensure the funds are delivered to the organising committee.

We will provide regular updates to the fundraising efforts on our websites and we intend to include the names of our sponsors to show the strength of support received. If you do not wish to include your organisation/name on the website please let us know.

This is following on from our very successful Charity Cycle Fundraiser last year, where we raised over €10,000 for the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. Last year’s event was a great success in terms of funds and awareness raised.

Once again thank you for your donation/involvement for this worthy cause, it is deeply appreciated.
