Charity Cycle Fundraiser for The Jack & Jill Children's Foundation
Added February 26, 2016
Glan Agua/MEIC have organised a charity fundraising cycle which will take a group of approximately 20 employees, friends and family from our most Northern Operational WTP at Boyle, Co Roscommon, to Killarney, Co Kerry, a distance of just under 300 Km.
We will be undertaking this journey over 2 days on the 1st & 2nd of July, with the intention of raising as much funds as possible for the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.
The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation provides direct funding, to families of children with brain damage up to the age of 4 who suffer severe intellectual and physical developmental delay, enabling them to purchase home respite care. They also provide end of life care to all children up to the age of 4 years. These are children who as a result of their condition require intensive home nursing care. The Foundation gives these families the gift of time , time to do the things that we so often take for granted like shopping, taking their other children to the park, a night’s sleep etc.
As such, this is a very worthy cause and we at Glan Agua/MEIC are striving to raise as much funds through this event as possible.
If you wish to donate to this fundraising effort we would be grateful if you could visit the link to the online i-donate page below. There you will be able to make an online payment which goes directly to the charity.
Alternatively please feel free to meet with any member of our staff to make a donation to this great cause.
Thank you for any donation for this worthy cause, it is deeply appreciated.
